What Actually Sets the Pace
- Material staging. A complete, correct lumber drop the day before start is worth two days of schedule. Short deliveries stall crews.
- Crane and truss day. Coordinated truss delivery + crane means a roof stacks in a day. Missed coordination means a week of hand-framing around it.
- Weather windows. We frame year-round in Minnesota — but wind stops crane picks and deep cold slows everything. Good crews plan around forecasts, not into them.
- Design complexity. Every dormer, vault, and roof plane is honest labor. Complexity isn't a problem — unpriced complexity is.
- Crew continuity. The same core crew start-to-finish beats a rotating cast every time. It's why we field our own crews instead of brokering labor.
